What We Do

Quarries

Quarry blasting is a major part of our business. We have helped customers improve their drill and blast program resulting in enhanced fragmentation, crusher throughput and bottom line. We pride ourselves on the attention to detail that we give every blast to ensure excellence.

Construction - Site Preparation

ECI performs site preparation blasting for developments such as new subdivisions or industrial buildings, including mass rock and utility trench. Our team is skilled at executing these blasts in busy urban environments.

CONSTRUCTION - ROADS & HIGHWAYS

A large part of our background is road and highway construction. ECI has blasted hundreds of miles of roads, including new highways, realignments, and widenings.

TRENCHING

Buried utilities are a large part of today’s infrastructure.  Utility trenching frequently requires blasting.  When rock impedes your progress, ECI has the knowledge, people and equipment to help when you need trench blasting.

Drilling

Drilling is an integral part of our core business. Drilling our own boreholes makes a big difference and sets us apart from other blasting companies. Communication between our drilling teams and blasting teams allows for a more precise outcome. When the job calls for drilling in an impossible location, we get creative.

SPECIALTY JOBS

When your drilling and blasting requirements are outside the norm, we might have a solution.

Mine Plan Consulting

ECI has mining and blasting engineers on staff with the proper knowledge, experience and tools to help with all of your mine planning. Our services include everything from 3D Modeling to determining stockpile quantities. We can work with you to increase productivity, efficiency and crusher throughput. With the vast experience of our blasters, drillers and engineers, we have the resources to help you solve problems and the ability to help you carry them out.

3GSM Drone Photogrammetry and Profiling

3GSM software is one of the tools in our technical services toolbox. Using drone technology incorporating digital photogrammetry, we can accurately reproduce a 3D model of ground features. From this model we can design blasts, check profiles, analyze geologic structural features, calculate blast and stockpile volumes, perform fragmentation analysis and utilize these models to aid in the mine planning process for the future. This leads to a safer, more accurate and more efficient mining process.
